One Bloor East

Challenge

This 78 Storey, 785+ unit condominium is the 3 tallest residential tower in Canada and is located in the iconic Yonge & Bloor intersection in downtown Toronto. The Developer Great Gulf were looking to use the highest quality engineered hardwood flooring as the standard offering to add value to the units and while maintaining the practicality of wood flooring in such a massive project. The designers from Cecconi Simone were looking to reflect elegance and excellence in design in this iconic luxury tower.

Solution

The solution we provided was to offer our Soho and Terra collection for the One Bloor project. Both collections offer a variety of chic sustainable European Ash and Oak engineered hardwood. The smooth and sanded finish reflects a seamless matte appearance, while maintaining the authenticity of the complete wood engineered construction. The quality, durability and sustainability of the flooring was a great fit for the builder’s requirements.
